About the Author
Shinya Ota is a blogger of "Weekend Walks in Yokohama". He was born in Yamashita cho and grown up in Honmoku, Yokohama. He has lived in Kominato, Yokohama since he returned from Blacksburg, Virginia in 2005. Except the period he stayed in Blacksburg, he has lived all of his life in the waterfront area of Yokohama for more than four decades.
He is an active registered national tour guide and takes foreign visitors to Tokyo, Yokohama and Kamakura for seightseeing. He will design tour plan flexibly to get it met with each visitor's request. He is providing foreign business visitors with secretary services as an interpretor and schedule planner during their stays. He is also a specialist of international business with experience for more than 25 years. He is working for some European companies and a U.S.company as a consultant and its representative.
